The students of third grade have been working on a very interesting and useful topic in Discover class: the different types of food.
Throughout this project,
the children have learned to recognize and classify foods into main groups such as carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, dairy, proteins, and healthy fats.
They have discovered the role each type of food plays in helping our bodies
stay healthy and strong.
As a final activity, each
student created their own food book, where are illustrated and described various
foods, grouping them by category.
