Autumn forest comes alive! 🍂​🍁​🪾

To welcome the autumn season, our Primary 2 students have been getting creative and putting their artistic skills to work. Using their hands as stamps, they painted a vibrant autumn tree featuring all the rich colors of the season—earthy browns, deep greens, bright yellows, warm oranges, and fiery reds.

The children crafted the trunk and colorful leaves with enthusiasm, leaving their personal touch on every branch. It was a fantastic hands-on activity that brought plenty of smiles, creative energy, and fun to the classroom.

1r i 2n: SORTIDA A CAN DEU: "EL MÓN RURAL"

 La setmana passada, els nens i nenes de 1r i 2n  vam viatjar en el temps per conèixer de prop "El món rural" a la masia de Can Deu (Sabadell).

Ens vam convertir en autèntics pagesos d'abans! Vam poder explorar com es vivia antigament, descobrint els secrets de la masia i aprenent com es feien servir estris tradicionals com el càntir, la pastera, la lletera,... Fins i tot vam fer una petita obra de teatre per entendre qui eren l'hereu i la pubilla! 

Després de recórrer l'hort, la bassa, el molí i visitar els animals, ens vam haver d'embrutar les mans per treballar la terra per plantar una fava i també ens vam poder emportar cap a casa un rave que havíem plantat, per tenir-ne cura d'ell . Ha estat un dia genial, intens i ple d'aprenentatges!

Welcoming Autumn in 1st Grade! 🍁

 To celebrate and explore the arrival of autumn, our 1st-grade students have been busy creating their very own Autumn Tree! Using our fingertips and vibrant paints in traditional autumn shades, we brought our classroom tree to life with colorful finger-painted leaves.

Along the way, we expanded our English vocabulary by learning key seasonal words like Acorn 🌰, Leaf 🍂, Pumpkin 🎃 or Mushroom 🍄.

We also practiced identifying and naming autumn colors in English, including orange, brown, yellow, red, and green.

It was a wonderful hands-on activity where we learned a lot, got creative, and had a fantastic time together! 🎨✨
